1. Who we are

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website rinesenglish.com and the classes, courses, digital guides, practice exams and related educational services (together, the "Service") offered by Rines English(the "Seller", "we", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to purchase or use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. The Service

Rines English provides online English lessons, USCIS civics test preparation, digital learning guides and an auto-graded civics practice exam. The Service is educational in nature and does not constitute legal, immigration or professional advice. We do not represent you before USCIS or any government agency.

4. Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose;
• send spam or infringe third-party intellectual property rights;
• attempt to probe, scan, scrape or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, or upload malware;
• share, resell or redistribute paid content, exam credits or account access;
• reverse engineer, decompile or bypass technical limits of the Service.

6. Intellectual property

All content, materials, software, branding, lesson plans, guides and exam questions (excluding official USCIS materials, which belong to the U.S. government) are the property of Rines English or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and its content for your personal learning within the plan you purchased.

7. User content

If you submit content (e.g. testimonials, messages, answers in the tutor), you grant Rines English a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you submit.

8. Payments, subscriptions and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to billing and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.

Subscription plans renew automatically at the frequency shown at checkout until you cancel. One-time purchases (such as the "10 civics practice exam attempts" pack) grant a fixed number of credits or a one-off deliverable and do not auto-renew. Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of our policies. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time via paddle.net.

10. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages or events beyond our reasonable control may affect availability.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is capped at the fees you paid to Rines English in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill), except where the law does not allow such exclusion.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Rines English against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Rines English operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
